That time I created a mock up of a game that Sprite bought... NBD. So the ad bled in from the bottom to take over the entire screen; the top pops off and a basketball pops out with confetti and an explosion of "Basketball is back!". A banner comes up to click to the game where the hoop is moving around and the user tries to shoot the ball in the moving target. My assets were provided to Sprite to use in the game. Again, nbd; just Sprite and strict branding guidelines PS • PPT
Another job from a NYC digital ad agency wanted to pitch a Valentine's Day promo for lipstick by letting users write a love note or message "in lipstick" and then share their message as a way to promote the new Chubby Stick color line. Photoshop
A "side hustle" being built in order to step out of his current 9-5. He decided to start off w/a 6 mo SM campaign to get the ball going. These are a few of the image posts. I was not in full control of the campaign as they are very small still, but I guided the intro verbiage while providing the visual catches. Views, impressions, and follows exploded. Website visits are @4+ min [also by me (next slide)]. We're only 1/2 way thru the campaign. Canva + PS
A former client came back with his new company for a rebrand. He had done everything himself. The result is the "before". It looks like it is a medical facility when he actually advises medical practices. I created a new logo and business card for him. Then I completely overhauled his website. The splash page is a custom creation using stock images and custom vectors. I don't usually do websites but this was such a bad representation, I felt I needed to intervene. PS InD Wix
To accompany the MOJO Restore 1420 installation on the "Large Format" page, I provided FB, IG and Twitter banners as well as refined some IG/FB quotes and historical facts to be posted by their SM manager. You always want your best foot forward. Just made some tweaks to what had been posted by redesigning the background and cleaning up the line breaks and removing widows to leave a clean and refined professional appearance. PS
MOJO Marketing + PR We pitched some posts for The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tennessee along with an iPad intro for one of the digital activities they offered at the clubs. Both of these were trying to use the existing branding. PS
Iron work is John's side hustle. He was a native of Slidell and, after Hurricane Katrina, he started making some really nice pendants in commemoration of the lives lost due to the storm. He limited the number to a number publicly released count of fatalities. Locals would argue there were many, many more deaths not counted, but all we can do is trust the people counting the bodies. (sigh) They are larger than they seem to be sure! Definitely a statement piece. PS
We're living in a digital world and I am a digital girl
You know those little ads that pop up at the bottom of your phone screen or take over the entire screen while surfing or scrolling, etc? Don't hate me... I did freelance for a few years for a couple of digital ad agencies in Manhattan that handled selling those. It was a great (and super fast-paced) experience to "see behind the curtain". I was also tasked with creating the ppt deck bases that would be used to pitch all sorts of ideas to brands that you probably see every day (this is where knowing how to use and ID existing branding guidelines came in super handy). It also expanded my lane as far as my skill set. One should never stop learning. Social Media posts and campaigns soon followed.
